The Christmas Series: A Stitch In Time Saves Nine

1:22 AM

'A stitch in time saves nine' means that if we fix a problem while it is not yet big, we could stop that problem from getting bigger and harder to solve.

Although a lot of people hate problems, I actually appreciate and am thankful for the small ones that can be solved easily. This is because they show us the simplicity of life and how we are in control of it for most of the time. It also shows us that we can always do something to make a situation better so we should never feel useless and/or hopeless.

I admit that sometimes, when life seems to become too hard for me to go on, I start wishing for a life with no problems. I imagine a place where it doesn't rain but is never too hot - a place where everything you need and want is already there. It always seems appealing to me but when I start thinking about staying in a place like that for the rest of my life, I get bored and hope that it never happens. Can you imagine a place where there are no problems, big or small? Sure, it'll sound nice at first but after a while it just gets boring, doesn't it?

We should remember that we all have our own problems for different reasons. We should just try our best to fix these problems, go through life like we normally do, smile, and hope for the best.
